A piece of industry gossip suggests that the hosting lineup of a major awards event in Mumbai was altered at the last minute. Initially, a young actor had reportedly been selected to co-host the show alongside another performer who is currently enjoying a successful phase in his career.
However, plans changed when a major superstar — who was scheduled to deliver the grand finale performance at the event — reportedly learned about one of the hosts. According to insiders, the star was unhappy with the choice and asked the organisers to replace the actor.
Sources claim the tension between the superstar and the young actor goes back several years. Their relationship is believed to have soured because of personal issues linked to the younger actor’s past romantic connections involving the superstar’s family.
Following the request, the organisers quickly replaced the actor with another rising performer to avoid any complications ahead of the event.
