This notoriously hands-on superstar, currently doubling up as actor and co-producer on a suspense drama helmed by a woman director, is reportedly running his film’s prep like a boot camp. Team members are summoned to his residence bright and early for marathon brainstorming sessions that stretch endlessly, with writers, assistants and department heads all expected to be present and alert till late evening.

While the star is said to be obsessing over everything from minor casting choices to the tiniest creative detail, the crew allegedly pays the price in stamina. Insiders whisper that while his personal meal arrives right on schedule, the rest of the team often goes hours without food, waiting patiently as discussions drag on. Only much later, once someone finally reminds the boss of the time, is a bulk order of takeaway rushed in — quickly eaten before the meetings resume at full throttle.

With the film yet to roll cameras, crew members are already bracing themselves for what they fear will be an even more gruelling shoot. Off the record, some have begun joking that they’ll need to enforce their own lunch breaks on set, or risk being swept up in the star’s relentless work mode without so much as a proper pause to breathe — or eat.
