Although he reportedly informed the superstar and sought his blessings, the move didn’t sit well. The actor, who had introduced him to the industry, is said to be unhappy and has since distanced himself.
The tension is evident, with no celebratory event held for the film despite its massive success—something quite unusual for such a big hit.
Meanwhile, the director has already moved on to his next project with a young leading actor, while the original team’s plans for another collaboration seem uncertain for now.
