This temperamental A-list hero has been loudly insisting he’s become more disciplined after the blockbuster success of his passion project last year, but crew members on his latest film are reportedly rolling their eyes at the claim. Insiders say the star’s reputation for erratic professionalism remains intact, with chronic late arrivals still the norm — a 9 am call time apparently means a post-lunch entry for him.

Once he does land on set, the actor is said to operate like an unofficial co-director, frequently rewriting lines, tweaking scenes, and even stepping into the director’s domain during action sequences. With the backing of the stunt team, he allegedly choreographs and executes set-pieces his own way, leaving the actual filmmaker sidelined more often than not.

Technicians working on the film are believed to be particularly frustrated with his impatience during technical setups.
