A striking foreign model, whose acting track record so far includes a couple of high-profile flops, has suddenly bagged a juicy role in the sequel to a wildly successful multi-starrer — and Bollywood’s rumour mill is working overtime to decode how. Industry chatter suggests her inclusion in the star-packed lineup has less to do with talent and more to do with her reportedly cosy rapport with the film’s director.
Insiders claim the duo have been frequently spotted together at upscale hotel cafés during odd hours, with the model also said to be a regular presence at the filmmaker’s Juhu residence. Fuel was further added to the gossip when the director allegedly flaunted a rather intimate picture of the two on his personal messaging display, setting tongues wagging in industry circles.
Interestingly, the actress was earlier linked to a moderately successful co-star from her previous films, a man known for his strong industry connections. Grapevine gossip says he was the one who introduced her to the director, a close friend of his, after which her casting in the big sequel reportedly happened at lightning speed — and notably opposite one of the film’s biggest male stars, not the actor who first brought her into the circle.
Publicly, the model is believed to be in a steady relationship with a wealthy boyfriend based in Dubai, but insiders hint that the narrative may be more complicated than it appears. Within Bollywood’s gossip circuits, her rapid rise and enviable casting choices have become one of the most hotly discussed behind-the-scenes stories of the moment.
