Whispers in the industry are that a star son refused a parallel role in a big-ticket film releasing later this year, even though the filmmaker who offered him that role is someone with whom he has had a hit before. Then, his pushy manager went ahead and got him a role in another two-hero project. Those who’ve heard the script of this project say that the star-son’s role is “not so significant”. In fact, if you look closely, some people may even think that he is actually playing second fiddle to a fairly new actor, who is not even a star in his own right. “What was the need for him to do a small role in a smaller film when he had an important part in a bigger project?” people wonder.
