A glamorous, unmarried Bollywood couple may not be as “unmarried” as the public believes.
This divorced superstar, who has been living with his actress girlfriend for the past few years, reportedly faced serious heat at home. His father — a respected former sports icon — was said to be unhappy with the arrangement, worried about the message it sent to the actor’s children from his previous marriage.
According to insiders, the senior patriarch pushed hard for legitimacy, insisting that if the couple intended to live together, they should formalize the relationship to avoid setting what he called a “confusing example.”
But there was a catch. A public wedding could dent the actress’s flourishing career and carefully crafted image. So the solution? A hush-hush ceremony at the actor’s ancestral home in north India, attended only by close family — including his children.
The alleged plan now is to keep the marriage under wraps until the actress chooses to step back from films and embrace family life. Until then, it’s business as usual — and silence is golden.
