A well-known filmmaker who is currently preparing a large-scale multi-starrer has reportedly chosen a young actor to play the main antagonist. The interesting part is that this actor had delivered one of the most impressive performances by a male lead the previous year in a small independent film that unfortunately did not reach a wide audience.
What’s amusing, according to insiders, is that the director himself hasn’t actually watched that breakout performance. In fact, he is known to rarely follow low-budget indie cinema. Instead, the decision to cast the actor was based mainly on the confidence, screen presence, and skill he displayed during his audition.
