A newcomer in Bollywood seems to have followed some rather questionable advice from his family.
After his debut film, which didn’t exactly set the box office on fire, his family still believed he had “arrived” in the industry. Riding on that confidence, they reportedly advised him to end his relationship, suggesting that being single would boost his popularity and public appeal.
Trusting their judgment, the actor is said to have broken up with his girlfriend. However, things haven’t quite worked out as expected—offers haven’t been pouring in, and his career hasn’t taken off.
Looks like the strategy may have backfired.
