A mega-budget film that was to release a couple of months ago has been stalled due to the lockdown. The producers plan to release it a few months after cinemas open, only so they can clock in the profits they hope to make. However, the delay is costing them dearly. We hear the producers are paying interest on their loan to the tune of 2cr a month. If the film gets delayed by 10 months, they will end up paying 20cr over and about the film’s estimated production and marketing costs. Let’s hope for a blockbuster
