A much-anticipated collaboration between a top superstar and an acclaimed filmmaker has hit a temporary pause—but for a good reason.

The film, which is expected to tackle a social theme with an entertaining narrative, was initially scheduled to go on floors earlier but got delayed even before the lockdown disruptions.

Insiders reveal that the superstar, who is banking heavily on this project as a comeback vehicle, had reservations about the second half of the script. Wanting everything to be just right, he shared his concerns with the director.

After multiple discussions, the filmmaker acknowledged that certain portions needed improvement and decided to revisit the script. He is now using this downtime to rework the latter half, especially the climax, to ensure it aligns with the vision they both have for the film.

Once the revised version is ready, the director plans to narrate it again to the actor before moving ahead. The superstar, meanwhile, has reportedly kept his schedule clear, prioritising this film above all else.

Fans may have to wait a bit longer, but expectations are clearly high for this collaboration.
