A filmmaker making his Bollywood debut after a strong reputation in regional cinema is reportedly having a rather exhausting first experience, thanks to the attitude of the lead actor he is working with. While the star is undeniably talented, insiders say his off-screen behaviour has become a daily challenge for the director, especially with a major portion of the film already completed.
Sources claim the actor often keeps the unit waiting, interferes in creative decisions, and frequently contradicts the director’s vision — all while allegedly trying to impress his glamorous co-star on set. From suggesting dialogue tweaks to altering scenes and demanding repeated retakes, his constant involvement has reportedly slowed down the shoot and created visible tension.
Given that the director is new to the Hindi film industry, he is said to be swallowing his frustration and pushing ahead to finish the project. However, those close to the production whisper that the experience has been so draining that he has privately vowed to never collaborate with the star again.
