There is often debate about how highly paid Bollywood stars are. Apart from their earnings from films, many actors also make substantial money through endorsements and advertisements. In some cases, such high pay makes sense when the actor consistently delivers box-office successes and ensures a strong return on investment for producers.
However, the situation seems quite different in the case of one particular actor. According to industry chatter, this star has delivered three major flops within a single year, yet is reportedly asking for a hefty fee for his next project.
Sources claim the actor is demanding around ₹33 crore to sign a new film. Considering the recent underperformance of his movies, many within the industry are said to be surprised by such a bold demand.
As of now, it appears that very few producers are willing to agree to such a price. The only person who might be open to backing him at that amount, some insiders jokingly suggest, could be his supportive father.
