In Bollywood, a failed film often strains professional relationships—but this actor-director duo seems to be an exception.

A popular Gen-Y star, who had been on a successful run, faced a setback when his recent romantic film with a well-known filmmaker didn’t perform at the box office. Many felt the film suffered due to the director’s execution, making the failure even more surprising given the actor’s strong momentum at the time.

Despite this, the actor reportedly shares a good equation with the filmmaker and had originally signed the project mainly to collaborate with him.

Now, the director has approached him again for a new film—this time a biopic—and the actor is inclined to take it up. However, his management team is strongly against the decision. They believe working with the same director again could be risky, especially after their last outing didn’t click.

This has led to internal disagreements, with the actor standing firm on his choice while his team tries to steer him in another direction.

Adding to the complication, the actor’s schedule is already packed, making it difficult to accommodate the project immediately.
